Turmeric Soup

Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon of Tallow

• 1 finely chopped onion

• 2 cloves of minced garlic

• 1-inch grated fresh ginger

• 2 teaspoons of ground turmeric

• 1 teaspoon each of ground cumin and coriander

• 1 cup of red lentils

• 4 cups of vegetable broth

• 1 can of coconut milk

• Salt and pepper to taste

• Fresh cilantro for garnish
