To kick off the year on a delicious and gut-healthy note, we're thrilled to share our French Toast recipe.

Ingredients:

 

  • 4 slices of your favorite whole-grain or gluten-free bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Ossa Organic Ghee for frying

 

Method:

 

  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, almond milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt until well combined.
  • Heat Ossa Organic Ghee in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring it's well-coated on both sides.
  • Place the coated bread slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Remove from the skillet and serve warm with your favorite toppings – whether it's fresh berries, a dollop of yogurt, or a drizzle of honey
